Casper (CSPR) price has climbed more than 5% over the past 24 hours as fresh exchange access, renewed attention around its upcoming network upgrades, and improving technical conditions have drawn buyers back to the token.
CoinGecko data showed CSPR trading around $0.00165 at the time of writing, up roughly 5% over the past day.
While the latest move has lifted sentiment, traders are also asking whether the recovery has enough support to develop into a sustained uptrend or if it is merely another relief rally within a longer-term downtrend.
Kraken listing, roadmap updates fuel renewed interest
One of the primary catalysts is that Kraken recently opened CSPR trading to US customers, giving retail and institutional investors another regulated venue to buy and sell the token with fiat pairs.
The listing did not trigger an immediate breakout, but trading activity has picked up in the days since launch as more US users gained access to the market.
Retail interest has also increased elsewhere. CSPR appeared among CoinGecko’s trending cryptocurrencies on Monday, placing the token in front of a wider audience as its price moved higher.
Around the same time, non-custodial exchange Exolix added support for cross-chain CSPR swaps.
In its announcement, the company said users can now swap CSPR across multiple blockchains through its platform.
Exolix also described Casper as a network built for enterprise applications, real-world asset tokenization and machine commerce.
Away from exchange activity, much of the community discussion has centered on the project’s next network upgrade.
The Casper Manifest roadmap outlines several changes planned for Casper 2.0, including native Ethereum Virtual Machine compatibility, support for x402 AI agent micropayments, and the transition to the Zug consensus protocol.
According to Casper’s documentation, Zug replaces the network’s Highway consensus mechanism with a deterministic design that allows skipped consensus rounds during network interruptions while giving validators more control over block production.
The roadmap also introduces native token burning and keeps Casper focused on enterprise blockchain use cases and tokenized real-world assets, two areas the project has repeatedly identified as long-term priorities.
CSPR price analysis
While the recent rally has improved short-term sentiment, the daily chart suggests traders may still need additional confirmation before calling the move a full trend reversal.
On the daily chart, using the 20, 50, 100, and 200-day exponential moving averages, together with On-Balance Volume (OBV), shows CSPR bouncing from a fresh local low near $0.00153 before climbing above $0.00165.

Despite the recovery, the token continues trading below all four major moving averages. The 20-day EMA near $0.00171 now represents the first important resistance level.
A successful move above it would expose the 50-day EMA around $0.00194, while the 100-day EMA near $0.00231 remains a more significant medium-term hurdle.
Until those levels are reclaimed, the broader daily structure still favors sellers even though downside momentum has weakened.
Volume indicators, however, offer early signs that buying interest is returning.
The same chart shows On-Balance Volume beginning to recover after a steep decline during July.
Although OBV remains well below previous highs, its recent improvement indicates buyers have started absorbing selling pressure rather than allowing distribution to continue unchecked.
Meanwhile, momentum indicators also offer a similar view.
The 14-day RSI has recovered to around 43 after previously falling close to oversold territory below the 30 level.

While the indicator remains below the neutral reading of 50, the rebound suggests bearish momentum has eased considerably over recent sessions.
At the same time, the 14-day ADX has fallen to roughly 25 after remaining above 30 for much of June and July.
A declining ADX indicates the strength of the previous downtrend is fading.
In practical terms, sellers no longer appear to control the market as strongly as they did several weeks ago, creating conditions where buyers have a better chance of establishing a recovery if demand continues improving.
Taken together, the four indicators present a balanced picture.
Price has started stabilising after a prolonged decline, RSI is recovering from oversold conditions, OBV has turned higher, and ADX shows weakening trend strength.
However, none of those signals independently confirms that a new long-term uptrend has begun because CSPR still trades beneath every major daily EMA.
For bullish momentum to strengthen further, buyers would likely need to push the token above the 20-day EMA before challenging the 50-day EMA.
Breaking those resistance levels while volume continues expanding would provide stronger technical confirmation that accumulation is replacing the prolonged downtrend.
Until then, the current rally appears to represent an early recovery attempt.
